Blend of organic Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Arneis with notes of pineapple, honey and hazelnut

Treuve (as in “tre uve” or “three grapes”) is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Arneis. It has pronounced primary aromas of fruits, and thanks to the Chardonnay it has the potential to age and develop in the bottle. Arneis is a signature grape of Northern Italy, and it contributes acidity, freshness, and hints of lemon and apple to the blend. Each variety was fermented separately in oak, then blended and matured in oak for another 12 months. Finally, the wine was aged for 12 months in the bottle.

Roero is a hidden gem of Piemonte. Thanks to its northerly location in the foothills of the Alps, its white grapes retain acidity and produce fresher wines than in the South. Malvirà is the most influential producer in Roero, and possibly the most innovative as well. Their winery is organic certified and carbon neutral, constructed deep underground with geothermal heating and cooling systems.

Tasting notes

Pale yellow colour. On the nose it has aromas of pineapple, lemon, honey and hazelnut. The wine is dry and fresh with high acidity, medium alcohol and body, with a pleasant finish.

Citus, crisp, very well balanced great for cheese board.

  2. JenniferA

My favourite white. Truly zingy minerally fresh. Perfect palate. Goes lovely with food or solo. Great every time.

  3. Martin Isark

If you relish the taste of posh white Burgundy, but can’t afford it, then this three grape blend is heaven sent. A case won’t be enough.
