Premium Sauvignon Blanc from the most prominent winemaker in Roero
This Sauvignon Blanc is matured in stainless steel at a controlled low temperature, so that its precious primary aromas of tropical fruit are preserved. It is matured for six months in stainless steel tanks, where the flavours become more integrated.
Roero is a hidden gem of Piemonte. Thanks to its northerly location in the foothills of the Alps, the region’s white grapes retain their acidity to produce fresher wines than in the South. Malvirà is the most influential producer in Roera, and is possibly the most innovative as well. The winery is organic certified and carbon neutral, constructed deep underground with geothermal heating and cooling systems.
Tasting notes: Pale yellow colour with enticing aromas of tropical fruit, gooseberry, pineapple, elderflower and apple. With its medium alcohol and body, this very refreshing wine has high acidity and a pleasant finish.

Declan –
From the moment I sniffed it, I knew I was going to love it. I’ve tried dozens of Sauvignon Blancs from all over the world, and until this one, favoured some of the better New Zealanders. But with a bouquet full of floral fruit fragrance and a taste so satisfying, with an extraordinary range of elegant and delightful flavours bursting onto the tongue, this has got to be a winner. Well done Malvirà!
