The Mediterranean island of Sardinia sits 124 miles off the coast of Italy, and has its own unique culture and heritage – it didn’t officially become part of Italy until 1861.
Sardinia has become a famous gastronomic destination, thanks to its fabulous cheeses and cured meats. But for wine lovers the island’s more famous for its two regional grapes – the rich and bold red Cannonau di Sardegna, and refreshing white Vermentino.
We are proud to stock some of the most excellent examples of those wines. Siddùra Spèra Vermentino di Gallura DOCG has received a spectacular review from The Independent, one of the UK’s national morning newspapers: “…quite possibly the best vermentino I’ve tasted in a while.”
