Elegant pink Prosecco with touch of Pinot Noir bursting with flavours of summer berries
Featured in Forbes: “Ca’ Di Rajo Treviso Prosecco DOC Rosé is like springtime in a glass with notes of freshly picked strawberries, rose petals and a balancing tang of pomegranate.” – Nicole Trilivas
Featured in Decanter as part of “Best Prosecco under £20: Top picks”: “Warm, spicy, earthy red fruit scents with a lick of cream. Mouthfilling and creamy with ripe red fruits, it has some peppery spice and apple in the background. It has a very definite rosé character and that Pinot Noir is clearly making itself heard. Good texture and balance.” – James Button
This pink Prosecco is a lovely summer drink – it’s light, elegant and fresh, with an added sophistication from the Pinot Noir grape that makes it a bit special. This red grape gives the wine a vivid pink blush, as well as adding delicate tastes of wild strawberry and fresh raspberry. With its tiny bursting bubbles it almost feels like popping strawberry candy – a delicious sensation. The Glera and Pinot Noir grapes for this Rosé come from the village of Rai, near the Piave river, 30 miles north of Venice.
Tasting notes
Fresh pink colour, flavours of wild strawberry, cranberry, fresh raspberry, and a sweet smell of candy. It’s a delightful summer drink, with a lower-than-usual alcohol (11.5%), and a light body. This pink Prosecco bursts with pleasant tiny bubble. Beware – the wine disappears from the glass faster than you can notice. A delight!
