Sparkling Moscato Wine

Sparkling Moscato d'Asti wine pouring in the glass

Ideal as an aperitif – and irresistible on summer afternoons – this beautiful and light Italian sparkling wine has distinct aromas of guava and pear. It was originally made by winemakers so that they could drink at lunchtime without becoming tipsy. It is made from Moscato Bianco grapes – one of the oldest varieties grown in Piedmont. The wine is bright, highly aromatic and enhanced by the natural sweetness of the grapes. The fizz is all natural, too.

What does Moscato d'Asti taste like? Ripe peaches, honey and orange blossom add to this wine's summery flavour. It's also one of the few wines that smells and tastes like grapes.
